The sixth sign in Astrology is Virgo. It is identified by Virgo the Virgin. It is not clear where the origins of the this name come from. Yet, the virgin is related to the Virgin Mary. Refined and pure, they have the maternal instinct of Virgin Mary. Generally, those born in Virgo sign are considered as the happiest looking out for people.
Like Pieces, Gemini and Sagittarius, Virgo is identified as a Mutable sign. A Mutable sign are considered as as double-bodies. This is a result of the signs coming in between seasons. For the case of Virgo, it bridges Autumn and Summer in the Northern hemisphere. Flipping between fixed and movable, they also continue to hold the element of nature.
Traditionally, Mercury is the ruler of Virgo. Mercury was considered as the god's messenger to ancient Romans. Astrologically, the planet relates to the mind, or mentality. Principles such as rationality communication and reasoning are signified by this planet. Although, it is said by contemporary astrologers that virgo is ruled by Ceres, which is a dwarf and far planet like Pluto in the solar system. Its status is not known in astrology present.
In the field of careers and job, Virgo goes well in any type of care work. With traits like the maternal instinct, they have practicality of a modest nature and are dependable. Virgo takes good care of others, without willing to take over the credit.
